I’ve always hoped to have the opportunity to meet readers. And I finally get my chance. Gulp. On November 19th at 6:30 PM, I am taking part in my first author’s panel at the Author Next Door event at the Stanwood Library, sponsored by great people of the Sno-Isle Library System. I’ve never done one of these before and to say I’m a little nervous is like saying Alyssa Milano is a little pregnant. I can use all the support I can get, and hope to see some of you there. Who knows, I might pull this off with some degree of aplomb. Or I might freeze like a deer in the headlights or go up in flames. But even so, it should be good clean fun for the whole family. And hey, if nothing else, there will be books there, lots of books – always a good thing. http://www.sno-isle.org/news/?nid=688

And if I’m going to do it once, why not double the pain and do another shortly thereafter? It’ll be like pulling a Bandaid off a wound that hasn’t properly healed – lotsa fun for everyone. I will be at Couth Buzzard Books (8310 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle) on November 29th from 1 to 2pm spreading cheer. And I won’t be alone, there will be authors there from noon to 5pm and music afterward. It is one rockin’ bookstore if you’ve never been. Certainly worth the trip one way or another – books, food, coffee, music, nervous authors… what’s not to like? See you there I hope.
